자비량 - Self support

  꼬미딴에 위치한 Technologico 대학교에서 학생들을 대상으로 버섯재배교육
이 시작되었습니다. 한 학기 과정으로 하여, 11명의 학생을 두 그룹으로 나누어
재배방법을 가르치고, 함께 실습을 합니다.

 현재 주문량이 많아서, 규모를 넓히기 위해서, 전력을 공급할 수 있는 발전기실을 새로 건축했습니다.

 틸라피아를 좀 더 싱싱하게 유통할 수 있는 방법은 없을까요? 활어로 과연 배달이 가능할지를 테스트를 해보려고 합니다.

   Technologico 대학교에서 정주영 형제의 버섯재배 발표가 두 차례 있었습니
다.  7월 16일과 27일 두 번에 걸쳐서 발표했는데, 여름 방학 코스를 들으러 학
교에 나온 학생들과 교수님이 참석하였습니다. 
   그동안 한국에서 배운 내용들을 정리하여, 버섯 재배방법, 한국에서 재배하는
버섯, 앞으로의 비전등에 대해서 소개하였습니다.

After 6 months since we have started the tilapia farming, we are starting our first shipments on November 6th, 2009.

                       Eggs hatch in about three weeks

August 3, 2009 

Five cows initially came to our rancho, and then twelve additional cows arrived, making total 17 Chelsea cows in our rancho (1 male, 2 calfs).

Pray that they provide enough milk for our mission center's own milk consumption and also to benefit our local people. 

65,000 of tilapia fry that were delayed in delivery due to influenza have finally arrived at our tilapia farm.

We finally finished building the storage house at our farm.

It was done almost a month ago, but we couldn't post the picture until now due to the internet connection issue.

We are going to store the food for tilapia in the storage house. We have made a small room at the corner of the building for people taking break.

We have completed the constructions of water tanks at our tilapia farm. 

Though we had many problems and delays due to insufficient amount of materials and lack of engineers, all the water tanks and water paths are now built and working very well. 

We are continuing the construction of the senior center that was started on October 1^st. Started from the foundation work, retaining walls, floor, wall, and now building the roof. Missionary Gil-hyuk Lee, pushing through the construction, is still sweating in the weather that is getting colder.
